If you need more information, please contact us via email at spiritofhopefarm@hotmail.com or call us at (207) 433-0831 (before 9:00 p.m. EST please).

Humane Education:
We believe that educating youngsters on proper care and respect for all of
God's creatures is the best way to prevent abuse and neglect. To that end,
we offer hands-on humane education programming geared to Middle School
aged students free of charge on a limited basis here at the farm. Please have
your school principal call to arrange a date!  School offerings are secular to
comply with State and Federal regulations that limit religious teachings in
     public schools.
Summer Camp:
Summer of 2008 will ROCK with our Animal Friends Summer Program! Our
animal-focused program will emphasize good stewardship of all animals as
well as good citizenship and caring for other people.  This camp is open to
youngsters 8 and up. Cost is $200 per week. Camp is Mon-Fri, 8:00-5:00.
We will accept Camp Bangor Scholarships, sending church contributions,
local service club funds, and DHHS/CBHS flex funds payments. See our
"Animal Friends Summer Program" web page (link to the left) for more details
or call Jen at (207) 433-0831.

Consultation Services:

Pre-Purchase Evaluations:
Often folks eager to purchase a horse may become enamored with it's initial
beauty, grace, or personality. These are important factors, but sometimes a
particular horse may not be the best choice given other factors like training,
age, vices, body type, or other variables that may eventually lead to it being
re-sold. Pre-purchase evaluation can assist a prospective horse buyer by
offering an unbiased opinion of the horse's overall suitability given the buyer's
pre-stated needs. This small investment prior to purchase can save tons of
money and heartache in the future. The consumer does not just get a pass/
fail response but also a thorough report from the evaluator on which to base
the decision on whether to buy or not buy a particular horse.  Call for
more information about this professional service.

Equine Transportation:

Equine transportation is available in our 3-horse slant load trailer. We only
offer custom hauling so your horse will never be hauled with other strange
horses. Our trailer is extra-wide and extra-tall with on-board temperature
sensor and video camera to ensure your horse's safety and comfort.
The trailer is disinfected between hauls to minimize exposure.
***Due to unstable gasoline prices, we now ask that you email or call us
with the horse's departure and destination addresses so that we can
give you a quote based on mileage and current gas prices.***

Many of the services we offer require us to talk with you about your specific needs in order to quote a price. Please contact us at (207) 433-0831 for more information on clinics, prepurchase evaluations, and our other professional services.
